This Privacy Policy describes how Houtperd ("we", "us") handles information when you use our application at houtperd.co.za (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, to authenticate you, and to send you service-related notifications. We do not sell your personal information.
If you connect your Google account, we request the Google Calendar events scope
(https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events) only to show your Google events
alongside your schedule and to create, update, or remove events you make in Houtperd. We keep
the connection token only until you disconnect.
Houtperd' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising and do not sell it. You can revoke access anytime from your profile (Calendar sync → Disconnect) or from your Google account permissions.
We share information only as needed to provide the Service (for example, with your teammates on shared work and with providers who help us operate the Service), or where required by law.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service and take reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
You can access, update, or request deletion of your information, and disconnect linked accounts, by contacting us or using the relevant controls in the Service.
We may update this policy; changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
